2009 Tampa RV Supershow Spotlights Prevost Conversions

The 2009 Tampa RV SuperShow was held Wednesday January 14 through Sunday January 18 at the State Fair Grounds in Tampa, Florida. This show, put on by the Florida RV Trade Association, spotlights the newest and best the RV Industry has to offer.

As expected, Prevost Bus Conversions stood head and shoulders above the other RVs brought to the show for display and sale.
We had the opportunity to visit with some of the converters and the other businesses that support the Prevost Coach community.

Our first stop was at the display of Millennium Luxury Coaches of Sanford, Florida. Nelson and Evelyn Figueroa brought a beautiful H3-45 Triple-Slide to the show. We also noticed that the new Quad-Slide shell on display by Prevostcar already had the Millennium brand. We look forward to seeing the great things Millennium does with this Prevost Shell!

Rob & Wendy Russell

Next door Rob and Wendy Russell of Russell Coachworks had a beautiful new coach on display. Russell Coachworks has been in
the bus industry for a long time. They are very familiar with Prevosts due to their experience in leasing buses. The coach they
brought to Tampa is their entry into the luxury motorhome market and it was a beauty. We really enjoyed talking with Rob and Wendy and know you will too. Take some time to visit them in Knoxville, Tennessee. They would love to give you a tour and show you their new conversion, or create a custom coach at your request.

Jimmy Adams

Our next stop was Amadas Coach. Amadas brought a full staff including Jimmy Adams and Shannon Adams. Pierre Legare and Eddie Marshall were also with Amadas in Tampa. Amadas does an outstanding job on both the exterior and interior of their coaches. Their unique styling backed by strong engineering experience shows through in the quality of the Amadas product. The show was buzzing about the recent acquisition of Featherlite Coaches by Amadas.

Next to Amadas was Prevostcar, displaying a Quad-Slide H that should prove to be the roomiest Prevost ever.

Inside we visited with Rick May of Parliament Coach. As usual Parliament had a fun display and had brought some beautiful coaches to Tampa. Parliament's Clearwater location is ideal for folks looking to purchase a coach at the show. A short drive from the fairgrounds, buyers can have their new coach prepped and ready to drive off the lot in short order.

Frank Konigseder,Jr.

Liberty Coach came with some beautiful coaches. We had the chance to talk with Frank Konigseder Jr., and look around the
impressive display. Liberty's Stuart dealership is a must visit in your search for a new or used Prevost.

Larry Gorman

Mike Lynch

We also visited with some other members of the Prevost community at the show. Larry Gorman of Custom Colors Coach is one of the best paint and collision specialists in the business. Larry had a great set up, illustrating the quality of the work performed
at their Port St. Lucie facility. Mike Lynch was there to represent Newcoast Financial Services. Newcoast is the exclusive financing sponsor for www.prevost-stuff.com and www.prevostownersgroup.com.  SMI Brake systems who specialize in towed-vehicle braking systems were at the show. Peter Schuck can find a system that will work for you.

The 2009 Tampa RV Supershow always provides a great venue to feature Prevost Converters and other vendors who support the Prevost Community.  I spoke with some of the visitors at the show looking at Prevost coaches. "We have always wanted a Prevost." or "We're looking to upgrade our Prevost."

It is a great time to purchase a Prevost and to purchase it from converters who have spent years developing a reputation of quality craftsmanship and service.
